Matt Ackman is living proof that God still changes lives.

Once homeless, addicted to drugs, and running from purpose, Matt encountered Jesus in 2012—and nothing’s been the same since. What the enemy meant for destruction, God has used for destiny. Now a full-time pastor, communicator, and mentor, Matt serves as the Student Pastor and Bible College Director at Crossroads Church in Lafayette, Louisiana.

For the last nine years, Matt has poured his life into discipling young people, preaching the Gospel with boldness, and helping the next generation walk in freedom and fire. Whether on a stage, in a classroom, or across a table, Matt carries a conviction to see leaders developed and lives transformed by the power of Jesus.

He’s known for his energetic teaching style, authentic storytelling, and a testimony that connects deeply with both the broken and the called.

Matt is married to his best friend, Mariah, and together they’re raising three amazing world-changers: Kaiden, Eden, and Julien. As a family, they’re committed to building the Church, loving people well, and having a lot of fun along the way.
